"Behavior" tells the story of Chala, an 11-year-old boy struggling to navigate a difficult life in Cuba. With a drug-addicted mother and a need to support himself, Chala finds solace in his relationship with his sixth-grade teacher, Carmela. But when Carmela falls ill and a new, unsympathetic teacher takes her place, Chala's behavior in school becomes uncontrollable. The school's administration sees no other option but to transfer him to a correctional institution, much to Carmela's dismay. As Chala's world begins to crumble, will he be able to find a way to overcome his challenges and find a sense of belonging?
