Backtrack is a psychological thriller that follows troubled psychotherapist Peter Bower as he struggles to come to terms with the death of his daughter in a street accident. Plagued by nightmares and eerie visions, Peter becomes increasingly unhinged, questioning his own sanity. When he discovers that all of his patients share a dark secret, he is forced to confront his own past and return to his hometown, False Creek, where he uncovers a long-buried mystery that threatens to destroy him. As Peter delves deeper into the truth, he must confront his demons and face the terrifying reality that may just exorcise or embolden the ghosts of his past.
