Austenland

"Austenland" is a romantic comedy about a young woman named Jane Hayes, who is obsessed with Jane Austen's novels, particularly the BBC adaptation of "Pride and Prejudice" starring Colin Firth. She spends all her savings on a trip to an English resort catering to Austen fans, where guests live as ladies of the Regency era and receive pseudonyms and period costumes. Despite feeling out of place among the wealthier guests, Jane befriends a fellow guest and meets her actor-companion, who may or may not be the perfect gentleman she's been searching for. As she navigates the resort's activities and her own feelings, Jane must decide where fantasy ends and reality begins. Will she find love in this eccentric world, or will her obsession with Austen's novels continue to dominate her life?
