Appleseed

In a post-apocalyptic world, a young warrior named Deunan Knute is rescued by a cyborg and joins a counter-terrorism organization to protect a utopian city called Olympus. She soon discovers that the city is governed by a council of elders who have a hidden agenda to sterilize humans and make Bioroids, a genetically-engineered species, the new rulers of Earth. Deunan must use her skills and the Appleseed data to stop the elders and restore reproductive functions to the Bioroids. With the help of her former lover, Briareos Hecatonchires, and a group of rebels, Deunan must fight against the elders and their army to save humanity and the Bioroids. The movie features stunning animation and action sequences, with a gripping storyline that explores themes of humanity, technology, and the struggle for power.
