Annette

Annette is a musical drama film that tells the story of a stand-up comedian, Henry, and his opera singer wife, Ann, who have a daughter named Annette. The film takes a dark turn when Ann dies under mysterious circumstances, and Henry is left to raise Annette on his own. As the girl grows up, she begins to exhibit a remarkable singing voice, which Henry uses to create a successful musical act. However, their relationship becomes strained as Henry's drinking and anger issues worsen, and he becomes increasingly jealous of Annette's success. The film ends with Henry being convicted of murder after he kills Ann's former accompanist and Annette refusing to sing at her father's final performance.
