Acts of Love

Acts of Love is a documentary-comedy-romance film that follows the story of a filmmaker who, after a breakup, relocates to Chicago and uses dating apps to find new lovers and cast them in his amorphous project. The filmmaker's mother disapproves of the project, but he continues to explore the ups and downs of love and relationships through conversations with hundreds of men and eventually, four men who agree to write and perform in the film. Through still images and voiceovers, the film also delves into the filmmaker's past memories of a former lover. The film offers a unique and natural look at love and relationships in the modern age.
