A Matter of Time

"A Matter of Time" is a heartwarming documentary that follows the story of Kathryn Calder, a vocalist from the successful indie band The New Pornographers, as she puts her life on hold to care for her mother who has been diagnosed with ALS. Inspired by her mother's fight, Kathryn records her first solo album as a gift to her, and invites old bandmates, friends, and a new extended family to join her in her journey. With a successful Kickstarter campaign and support from the Canadian charity The Yellow Bird Project, the film takes the audience through a rollercoaster of emotions, showcasing the power of love, family, and music in the face of a devastating disease.
