After a painful breakup, Erin starts her new life in a different city as a canine therapist. However, her fresh start is put to the test when her self-centered boss, Martin, tasks her with finding homes for 12 adorable puppies left behind after a photo shoot for his struggling GPS locator company. With Christmas just around the corner, Erin must now juggle her job and her newfound love for the puppies, all while discovering that Martin may not be as bad as she thought. As they work together, their unlikely partnership blossoms into something more, and they learn that love can come in the most unexpected ways.
