In the modern and sprawling Linna prison, inmates Lilja, Jane, and Mirella await their turn to transfer to the new facility. As they navigate the challenges of their temporary living arrangements, the prison staff struggles to adapt to changing circumstances and unfamiliar workspaces. Meanwhile, Tiina and Linda arrive to serve their own prison sentences. Despite the bleak surroundings, each inmate holds onto the hope of one day regaining their freedom. Against the backdrop of the prison's strict rules and harsh realities, the inmates must find ways to cope and survive. Directed by Piia Ketopaikka, this documentary series offers a glimpse into the lives of those behind bars and the people who work to keep the prison running.
