Library War

In a future Japan, the government has passed a law allowing censorship of any media deemed harmful to society. The Kantō Library Base, led by the Library Defense Force, opposes this law and protects books from being raided by the Media Betterment Committee. Iku Kasahara, a new recruit, joins the Library Task Force, an elite group of soldiers who undergo rigorous training to respond to difficult operations. Despite her recklessness and lack of adequate training, Kasahara is enlisted into the task force due to recommendations from her drill instructor Atsushi Dojo and other high-ranking officials. Alongside Hikaru Tezuka, another new recruit, Kasahara must navigate the challenges of protecting books and fighting against censorship, all while romantic feelings bloom between her and Dojo.
