In "Shift," a laid-back call center employee named Estela finds herself mentored by the pragmatic senior agent Trevor. As they spend more time together, their friendship blossoms into an unconventional relationship that challenges their deepest beliefs. But as they navigate their feelings for each other, their work lives become complicated when they uncover a scam by a rival sales team, leading to a company shake-up and mass layoffs.
