Pause is a movie that tells the story of a middle-aged woman, Elpida, who is trapped in a loveless and abusive marriage. As she reaches menopause, she finds solace in a fantasy world of vindictive violence, where she can escape the tyranny of her husband and assert her own power. But as she delves deeper into this world, reality and fantasy begin to blur, and Elpida must confront the darker aspects of her own psyche. Will she find a way to break free from her oppressive marriage, or will she succumb to the darkness within her?
