What is Omar about? 
Omar is a Palestinian baker who risks everything to visit his sweetheart Nadia across the Israeli West Bank barrier - the same barrier Omar must navigate to join his childhood friends Tarek and Amjad in attacks against Israeli soldiers. But when a nighttime attack on a checkpoint leaves a soldier dead, Omar is captured, tortured into self-incrimination by an Israeli agent named Rami, then released under the condition that he aid in Tarek's capture. Due to delays in helping with Tarek's capture - and the suspicion of being a collaborator - Omar's situation worsens. In a desperate attempt to clear his name and avenge his friends, Omar makes a fatal deal with Rami - one that ultimately results in bloodshed instead of justice.
