Doug "The Thug" Glatt, a hockey enforcer, is forced to retire due to injury and family obligations. However, when his arch-rival is named captain of his former team, Doug feels compelled to return to action and defend his team. Ignoring his wife's wishes, Doug joins a hockey fighting league and eventually returns to his team, leading them to victory.
