Buddymoon

Buddymoon follows the story of David, a former child actor who is left by his fiancé just days before their wedding. David's best man, Flula,, an excitable German takes him on the honeymoon instead: a backcountry trek in the remote mountains of Oregon. Along the way, they meet quirky characters including a conspiracy theorist, a friendly backpacker, and a wild animal while facing challenges that test their friendship and their lives. The adventure-comedy takes inspiration from William Clark's diary, describing his friendship with Meriwether Lewis and their expedition through the same Northwest woods. As the two men embark on their journey, they encounter misadventures that strengthen their bond, parallel to the friendship between Lewis and Clark.
