Mr. Bean, a hapless and clumsy security guard at the National Gallery in London, is sent to Los Angeles to oversee the transfer of Whistler's Mother, a priceless painting purchased by philanthropist General Newton. Despite his best efforts, Bean causes chaos and destruction wherever he goes, much to the dismay of his hosts and the gallery's director. As he navigates the challenges of his mission, Bean's antics lead to a series of hilarious misadventures that put the painting and his own reputation at risk. Can he succeed in his task despite himself?
