Sort Of

Sort Of is a coming-of-age comedy-drama series that follows the life of Sabi Mehboob, a gender-fluid millennial who is struggling to find their place in the world. Sabi, who identifies as non-binary, is caught between their Pakistani upbringing and their desire to explore their true identity. They work as a nanny for a hipster family in downtown Toronto, while also trying to navigate their relationships with their sister, mother, and love interest. After their employer and friend, Bessy, falls into a coma following a biking accident, Sabi is left to care for her children and confront their own demons. With the help of their best friend 7ven, Sabi embarks on a journey of self-discovery and exploration, all while trying to balance their responsibilities and cultural expectations. The series features a diverse cast of characters, including Gray Powell, Kaya Kanashiro, Aden Bedard, Amanda Cordner, Grace Lynn Kung, Ellora Patnaik, Supinder Wraich, and Gregory Ambrose Calderone.
