In a world where magic exists, a young girl named Hazuki Kagimura discovers she has been chosen by the story of Cinderella to attend a prestigious magic school. There, she meets Shizuka Tsuchimikado, a leader of Japan's representatives in an annual magic competition. Hazuki learns that the girls at the school, known as "Mädchen," are selected by magical texts to wield their power and write their own stories. With her newfound abilities, Hazuki joins Shizuka and the other Mädchen in their quest to become the best magicians and make their dreams come true. But as the competition approaches, tensions rise among the girls, and Hazuki must confront her own doubts and fears to find her place in this strange new world.
