In a world where the once-called Japan is now divided into two distinct realms, Frontier S (Stratos) and the 17th Far East Imperial City Management District, the citizens thought they had found peace. But when a rare disease called "degradation" begins to spread, disintegrating human bodies into mere piles of sand, an ordinary student named Tohru Kazasumi finds himself caught in a multi-universal battle between his world and the parallel world of Frontier Stratos. As Tohru and his friends from both universes must confront their own flaws and differences, they must also fight for survival in a war where their futures collide. Will both worlds ever find peace?
