Beautiful to watch, the copacabana scene is a work of art from the creators side and the story is intriguing enough. But for me it’s all about the visuals, gorgeous shots and thought out colorschemes.

It's Marty's most visceral movie, and a genuine challenger to The Godfather for the title of greatest Mafia flick ever made. Hell, we dare you to find fault with this film.

"I always wanted to be a gangster..." So begins one of Scorsese's very best films which is also among the best gangster films ever made. Pesci is terrifying here: "Funny how?!"

It is an indictment of organized crime, but it doesn't stand outside in a superior moralistic position. It explains crime’s appeal for a hungry young man who has learned from childhood beatings not to hate power, but to envy it.
