Der er på én gang utroligt meget humor i den måde, Strickland går til den skemalagte, performancemæssige dimension af S/M, og en dyb forståelse for de mellemmenneskelige, psykologiske mekanismer, der er på spil.

En något annorlunda och befriande originell infallsvinkel på den traditionella S&M-skildringen med andra ord, iklädd en snygg dräkt och stämning tydligt inspirerad av 60/70-talssexploitation à la Jess Franco.
