In this powerful drama, a mother and daughter are constantly on the run, trying to escape their past and start anew. The daughter, who has never known a life without her mother, fiercely clings to her, even as she struggles to understand why they must keep moving. The mother, haunted by her own demons, tries to protect her daughter from the harsh realities of their world.
