The Wandering Moon tells the story of Fumi, a young university student who takes in Sarasa, a lost and scared 9-year-old girl he meets in a park on a rainy evening. They live together for two months before Fumi is arrested for kidnapping. 15 years later, the now grown-up Sarasa seeks out Fumi in a quest for answers and closure, only to find that their fates remain inextricably linked. Through their complex and emotionally charged journey, the film explores themes of identity, trauma, and the power of human connection to shape our lives.
