Vox Populi is a dark comedy that follows the story of Jos Fransen, a seasoned politician struggling with a midlife crisis. When he meets his daughter's boyfriend, a straight-talking military police officer, and his outspoken family, Jos is exposed to a new perspective on politics that challenges his traditional views. As he incorporates more populist ideas into his platform, he finds himself rising in the polls, much to the dismay of his elitist party members. Will Jos be able to reconcile his newfound popularity with his left-wing beliefs, or will his transformation come at a cost?
