In the underbelly of New York City, a young girl named Little and her mentally impaired mother Nikki are forced to flee their subterranean home in the abandoned subway tunnels after a sudden police eviction. As they struggle to find shelter in the brutal winter night, they must fight to survive and navigate the unfamiliar world aboveground, all while trying to find their way back home.
