The Warden

In 1967, a decaying prison in southern Iran is being evacuated due to its proximity to the city's new airport. Major Nemat Jahed, the head of the prison, is tasked with transferring the inmates to a new facility, but one prisoner, known as the Indian, mysteriously disappears. As Jahed searches for the missing prisoner, he uncovers a web of secrets that threaten to jeopardize his promotion and his own sense of morality. Meanwhile, he develops feelings for a young woman who works with the prisoners, adding to the tension and complexity of the situation. Will Jahed be able to find the Indian and secure his promotion, or will he risk everything to uncover the truth?
