The Wait

In the midst of a wildfire that's engulfing their rural community, two sisters are left to grapple with the recent death of their mother. But when a mysterious phone call claims that their mother will be resurrected if they keep her body in the home, they find themselves at odds over whether to believe the prophecy or confront the harsh reality of their loss. As they wait in suspended belief, tensions rise and secrets are revealed, threatening to tear their family apart. Will they find a way to move forward, or will their faith in the unknown keep them trapped in a cycle of hope and despair?
