In 1988 East Germany, a rebellious teenager named Franka finds herself drawn to a group of passionate environmental activists, led by the charismatic Stefan. As she becomes more involved with the group, Franka's once carefree life takes a dangerous turn when they lose the support of the church and face the wrath of the government. With her mother, a loyal Party member, worried about her daughter's involvement, Franka and Stefan must confront the harsh realities of their fight for change. Will their unwavering dedication to their cause be enough to overcome the obstacles they face, or will it ultimately tear them apart?
