The Pit

In "The Pit," a young boy named Markuss is forced to live with his strict grandmother in the countryside after his father's death. When a neighbor's daughter, Emīlija, makes hurtful comments about his father, Markuss seeks revenge by tricking her into falling into a deep pit. The consequences of his actions are severe, and the boy becomes isolated from the rest of the village. However, he finds solace in his art and an unlikely friendship with a mysterious sailor who lives in the nearby woods. As they work together to complete a beautiful glass mosaic, Markuss uncovers dark family secrets and learns the true meaning of forgiveness.
