The Joke Thief follows the journey of Simon McCabe, a stand-up comedian struggling to make a name for himself in the comedy world. Despite his natural talent for making people laugh, Simon's reputation for joke stealing has held him back. After a chance encounter with an old friend, Simon is given one last shot at redemption. As he takes the stage, he reflects on the moments that have shaped him into the comedian he is today, in a series of emotional flashbacks. Will Simon be able to find his own voice and prove himself as a true comedic talent, or will his past mistakes haunt him forever?
