In the picturesque countryside of Norway, a poor farmer's son named Espen embarks on a perilous journey with his brothers to save the beautiful Princess Kristin from the clutches of a wicked troll known as the Mountain King. According to legend, the princess must marry Prince Fredrik or face being taken away by the troll, but she refuses and runs away. The king offers a generous reward and half of his kingdom to whoever can rescue his daughter and defeat the Mountain King. With their family farm facing ruin, Espen and his brothers bravely set out to claim the reward and save their home. As they venture deeper into dangerous territory, they encounter magical creatures and unexpected challenges that test their courage and determination. Will they be able to overcome their fears and work together to rescue Kristin before it's too late?
