In the bleak city of Winnipeg, a group of disconnected misfits struggle to find meaning in their lives. A hypochondriac, a failed comedian, a loner, and a stoner couple pass their days in listlessness, unable to shake off the feeling of purposelessness. Their lives take an unexpected turn when they are brought together by a shared fear of having contracted a tapeworm. As they navigate their mundane existence, they must confront their deepest anxieties and learn to find solace in each other's company. Will they be able to break free from their monotonous routines and find a way out of their bleak reality?
