Sunflower

Sunflower tells the story of Tae-sik, a former gangster who returns to his hometown after serving a decade in prison. Eager to leave his violent past behind, Tae-sik takes a job at a local garage and tries to avoid confrontations with the town's gangs, who still fear his reputation. However, when a powerful politician threatens to demolish his adoptive mother's restaurant to make way for a new shopping mall, Tae-sik must decide whether to resort to violence or risk losing everything he holds dear. Will he be able to protect his loved ones and find a path to redemption, or will his past come back to haunt him?
