Silent Night

In a small Austrian town, a young priest named Joseph Mohr is determined to bring the church closer to the common people. Despite facing opposition from his superior, Father Nostler, Mohr organizes a church choir that includes outcasts from the local tavern and performs in German instead of Latin. When Maria, a regular tavern patron, surprisingly joins the all-male church choir, their relationship further deteriorates. As Mohr's efforts start to crumble and he faces a trial of faith, he must decide if he will accept defeat and leave Oberndorf or embrace the true significance of the Holy Night.
