"Shala" is a coming-of-age drama set in 1970s rural India, following four ninth-grade friends as they navigate love, life, and their own destiny. Joshi, a 14-year-old boy, is deeply in love with Shirodkar, a beautiful and cultured girl who shares his classroom. As they silently discover the ups and downs of love, they must also confront their own individual struggles, hailing from different cultural and family backgrounds.
