Postmaster

In the film Postmaster, a young man nameds Nanda Sen leaves his life in urban Calcutta to become the village Postmaster of Plassey. Despite the contrast between his old life and his new one, Nanda finds solace in an unlikely place: the company of Ratna, an orphan low-caste housemaid. As he spends more time with Ratna, Nanda's feelings for her grow stronger, and he eventually marries her, defying societal norms.
