Passengers is a movie that tells the story of two passengers, Aurora and Jim, who are on a 120-year journey to a distant planet on a spaceship called the Avalon. Due to a malfunction, they are awakened 90 years too early and face a moral dilemma as they struggle to come to terms with their new reality. As they try to unravel the mystery behind the malfunction, they discover that the ship itself is in grave danger, putting the lives of 5,000 sleeping passengers at risk.
