Parched

In the heart of rural India, four women bravely challenge the oppressive traditions that have held them back for so long. Rani, a widow struggling to support her son and mother-in-law, marries her son off to a child bride despite the village's disapproval. Lajjo, a close friend of Rani's, is trapped in an abusive marriage with an alcoholic husband who mocks her for being infertile. Bijli, an erotic dancer, acts as a confidant and advisor to both Rani and Lajjo. As the women face their demons and stage their personal wars, they begin to question the society that has held them back for so long. Will they find the strength to break free and forge a better life for themselves?
