Panchatanthiram is a heartwarming comedy-drama about Ram, a charming but unfaithful pilot who falls in love with Mythili, a beautiful dancer. After a series of hilarious misadventures, including a drunken tryst with a prostitute and a wild goose chase to dispose of a dead body, Ram realizes he loves Mythili and must win her back. But their love is put to the test when Mythili misinterprets Ram's actions and leaves him, and a smuggler kidnaps them both, demanding his stolen diamonds back. Will Ram and Mythili overcome their misunderstandings and find their way back to each other?
