Diana, a pregnant woman struggling to care for her autistic son, hires a Filipino caregiver named Luz. Despite their language barrier, Luz quickly forms a bond with Diana's son and begins teaching him her native language. However, Diana starts to suspect that Luz might be using her newfound influence to turn her son against her, and perhaps even worse, as eerie occurrences begin to take place in their home. As Diana becomes increasingly paranoid, she must confront the possibility that Luz might have sinister intentions for her son.
