In a future not far from our own, a woman named Manny struggles with her identity as a closeted homosexual. While on a writer's retreat, steady herself and explore her feelings, she finds herself drawn to three very different love interests: a flesh-and-blood man, an ethereal woman who may or may not be real, and surprisingly AI program designed to meet her every need. As Manny's journey unfolds, she must confront the truth about her desires and learn to embrace her true self, even if it means facing societal expectations and the harsh realities or the world around her.
