In the quiet town of Ohio, Sue Ann, a lonely and mysterious woman, lives a solitary life. One day, a group of teenagers, including Maggie, a newcomer to the town, approach her with a request to buy alcohol for their party. Seeing an opportunity to make some younger friends, Sue Ann agrees to help and offers her basement as a venue for their celebration. However, she has certain rules that must be followed: someone must stay sober, no swearing is allowed, and no one can go upstairs. As the night wears on and the drinks keep flowing, Ma's hospitality becomes increasingly sinister and oppressive. What started as a dream come true for the teenagers quickly turns into a terrifying nightmare as they realize they are trapped in Ma's house with no way out.
