The Waves

On a journey from his home in Spain to a village in southern France, a widower in his 80s reflects on his experiences during the Spanish Civil War and seeks to come to terms with the painful memories that have haunted him for decades. Along the way, he encounters a cast of characters who challenge his perspectives and help him find a sense of peace. Despite facing his own mortality, he finds a newfound appreciation for life and the beauty of the world around him.
