Lakeeran

In the film Lakeeran, a young ex-pat returns to Punjab after being involved in a fatal car accident in Greece, where he accidentally killed a man. He is consumed by guilt and struggles to come to terms with what happened. While in Punjab, he meets and falls in love with a widow who has also lost her husband in a similar tragic way. As they navigate their grief and try to move on, they find solace in each other's company and learn to heal together. Set against the beautiful backdrop of Punjab, Lakeeran is a poignant and emotional drama about love, loss, and redemption.
