Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja

In 18th century India, the British East India Company imposes heavy taxes on the people of Thalassery, Kerala. The royal family of Kottayam, ruled by Pazhassi Varma, resist the occupation and lead a rebellion. The Company retaliates with force, and a brutal war ensues. Pazhassi Raja, the leader of the rebellion, uses guerrilla tactics and forms alliances with other rulers to fight against the British. Despite their bravery, the rebels face betrayal and defeat. The film ends with the death of Pazhassi Raja, a hero who fought for his people's freedom.
