Pain of Love tells the story of Kirsten, a high school student who falls in love with her teacher, Søren. Despite their passion for each other, their relationship is marked by heartache and challenges that Kirsten is not prepared for. She struggles with depression, mood swings, and paranoia, which threatens to tear them apart. As they try to navigate their complicated relationship, Kirsten becomes pregnant and faces a difficult decision.
