In Hell

In Hell is a 2003 action-thriller film directed by Ringo Lam and starring Jean-Claude Van Damme. The movie is set in a maximum-security prison in Russia where prisoners are forced to fight to the death for the warden's entertainment and profit. Kyle LeBlanc (Van Damme), an American engineer, is sentenced to life in prison without parole after he kills his wife's rapist and murderer.
