In the isolated French Alps, a young woman named Anna Jurin begins a new job as a housekeeper at Saint Ange Orphanage, which has a dark history of mysterious deaths and supernatural occurrences. As Anna delves deeper into the orphanage's secrets, she discovers that the alleged ghostly voices and footsteps she hears may not be figments of her imagination after all. With the help of Judith, the last remaining orphan who claims to hear the voices too, Anna uncovers a chilling truth about the orphanage's past and the fate of its former inhabitants. But as she gets closer to the truth, she realizes that she and her unborn child may become the next victims of the vengeful spirits haunting Saint Ange. Will she be able to survive long enough to uncover the truth, or will she succumb to the same fate as those who came before her?
