House of Pleasures

In the heart of Paris, a high-class brothel known as the House of Tolerance is home to a group of prostitutes living under the strict rule of their madam, Marie-France. Each woman has her own reason for being there, but they all share a dream of a better life beyond the bordello's walls. As the turn of the century approaches, the girls' lives become more complicated when a new, 15-year-old recruit named Pauline joins their ranks, and the government threatens to shut down all brothels in France. Amidst opulent masked balls and bitter rivalries, the women must confront their darkest fears and desires in a world where their bodies are both their currency and their curse. Will they find a way to escape the House of Tolerance, or will they be trapped forever in this gilded cage?
