In the gritty streets of London, a young black man named Kwame is brutally murdered by a gang of teenagers. Detective Sergeant Joe Stephens, a former resident of the estate where the crime took place, is tasked with solving the case. As Joe delves deeper into the investigation, he uncovers a web of lies and deceit that leads him to question everything he thought he knew about the community he grew up in. With tensions rising and loyalties tested, Joe's quest for justice becomes a race against time to catch the killers before they strike again. But as he gets closer to the truth, he realizes that the real enemy may not be the gang members, but the system that breeds such violence and disregard for human life.
